1 injured in shooting near home off N.Circle in Colorado Springs

A shooting on the east side of Colorado Springs sent one man to the hospital on Tuesday night.

Colorado Springs police responded to a shooting in the 1300 block of N. Circle at around 9 p.m.

Those living in the area say they heard gunshots and saw the victim being taken away in an ambulance.

He is expected to be okay, according to a spokesperson with CSPD. Investigators believe he was shot in an alleyway next to a home in the neighborhood. It is unclear whether the victim actually lived in the area.

There is not a suspect description at this time.
