Cool and comfortable again to start the work week... hotter by Tuesday.

TODAY: We'll see partly cloudy skies Monday afternoon... with well below average temperatures. Highs today will be in the low-70s for Colorado Springs and the low-80s for Pueblo.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and mild overnight with Tuesday morning lows in the 50s.

EXTENDED: It's a quick warm up starting Tuesday as heat dome builds across the region. Highs will jump into the upper-80s and low-90s Tuesday afternoon. Hotter yet Wednesday with triple digit heat possible across the Arkansas River Valley. Shower and thunder chances will begin creeping upwards on Friday and heading into the weekend.
