Colorado Springs School District 11 kicks off school year at U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)-- Colorado Springs School District 11 kicked off the school year for district administrators in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Museum (USOPM). 

The kick-off was held on Tuesday, August 1, and celebrated the first day of team building, district leadership, and elevating excellence. 

Over 250 district leader participated in the event with teams participating in interactive activities like archery, sprints, and downhill skiing demonstrations to learn lessons to help D11 students succeed ahead of the school year. 

School starts in District 11 on Wednesday, August 16, with teachers expected to return to classrooms the week of August 7.
