Lockout lifted at Colorado Springs elementary school

A lockout at Centennial Elementary school in Colorado Springs has been lifted following an incident near the school Tuesday morning.

A spokesperson for Harrison School District 2 said there was an altercation outside of the school building, prompting the lockout. No one was allowed either in or out of the building during that time.

No students were involved in the altercation.

Colorado Springs police told KRDO they are searching for one person following reports of a man with a gun in the area, although police said the man was not threatening the school.
