How does your experience make you qualified to represent the people?

I've been self-employed and a small business owner basically all my life so I've signed both sides of a paycheck. I have been a county commissioner for 6 years, I served in the House for 4 years and I've been in the Senate for 4 years. 

What are your top policy priorities?

Agriculture, rural healthcare, local control and over-regulation are topics that concern me.

What is one issue you think is being overlooked in this race, and how would you address it? 

Over-regulation contributing to the cost of living.
