How does your experience make you qualified to represent the people?
I’m not a career politician. I’m a U.S. Marine, a high risk humanitarian, and a leader who has spent my life running toward problems, not away from them.
I’ve served overseas in some of the most dangerous places in the world, protecting the vulnerable and taking on missions where the stakes were life and death. That experience shapes how I lead. Focused. Decisive. Grounded in real world consequences.
Back home, I have built and led multimillion dollar nonprofit organizations, managing large teams, complex budgets, and high pressure operations. I understand accountability. For results. For people. For every dollar spent.
That is the kind of leadership Colorado is missing.
We do not need more political insiders. We need someone who understands service, sacrifice, and responsibility. Someone who has made tough calls, solved real problems, and delivered when it mattered most.
I am running to bring that same mission first mindset to Colorado. Fighting for safer communities, real affordability, and a future where families can thrive.
I will tell you the truth. I will stand up for what is right. And I will never forget who I serve.
What are your top policy priorities?
My priorities are simple because the challenges facing Colorado families are clear.
First, affordability. Too many people are getting squeezed at the grocery store, at the gas pump, and especially when it comes to housing. I’ll push to cut unnecessary regulations, rein in government spending, and make it easier to build and own a home in Colorado again.
Second, public safety. You deserve to feel safe in your own neighborhood. I will fully support law enforcement, crack down on repeat offenders, and make sure our laws actually protect victims, not criminals.
Third, protecting our freedoms and way of life. That means defending Second Amendment rights, standing up for parents in education, and pushing back against government overreach that drives up costs and limits opportunity.
Fourth, water and our future. Colorado’s growth depends on responsible water management. I’ll fight to protect our water rights, invest in smart storage solutions, and ensure we’re planning ahead instead of reacting too late.
And finally, accountability. Government should work for you, not special interests. I’ll bring transparency, demand results, and make sure your tax dollars are spent wisely.
This campaign is about getting Colorado back on track, more affordable, safer, and focused on the people who actually make this state great.
What is one issue you think is being overlooked in this race, and how would you address it?
One issue that’s not getting enough attention is accountability in government.
Coloradans are paying more than ever in taxes and fees, but too often, they can’t see where that money is going or whether it’s actually solving problems. That’s a problem. When government grows without accountability, families end up footing the bill while results fall short.
That’s exactly why I put forward our Colorado Works Better plan. It’s focused on making state government more transparent, more efficient, and more accountable to you. That means clear reporting on how your tax dollars are spent, real audits that lead to action, and a commitment to cut programs that aren’t delivering results.
But this goes beyond budgets. It’s about restoring trust. People feel like decisions are being made behind closed doors, without their input. I will open that process up, listen directly to communities across the state, and make sure your voice carries real weight in the decisions that affect your life.
Good government isn’t about being bigger or louder. It’s about being effective, responsible, and accountable to the people it serves.
With Colorado Works Better, we can rebuild trust and make government work the way it should for every Coloradan.
