Woman with felony warrant arrested after allegedly entering home without permission

El Paso County Sheriff’s Office

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- El Paso County Sheriff's Office (EPSO) has arrested a 35-year-old woman after she allegedly entered someone's house without permission.

According to EPSO, deputies were contacted by an individual in the area of Claiborne Road and Naples Drive around 11:10 p.m. on July 7. The individual allegedly told deputies that an adult female had entered their home in the 2500 block of Wooddale Road without permission.

Law enforcement says deputies searched the home and surrounding area and located 35-year-old Shandra Rathke at a separate home in the 1200 block of Forest Road. Deputies then found out that Rathke had a no-bond felony warrant, says EPSO.

According to deputies, Rathke refused to comply with commands to exit the house, but after being told K-9 Dex would be deployed if she did not listen, she exited the home.

Rathke was charged with criminal mischief and third-degree assault and is being held without bond due to a parole bond, according to EPSO.
