House fire extinguished in Cimarron Hills area

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Firefighters responded to a house fire Friday morning on the eastern edge of Colorado Springs.

The fire was in a house located at 2227 Pinon Jay Drive, in the Cimarron Hills area.

The fire is believed to have started in the garage and spread to the rest of the house. What caused it is unclear at this time.

Firefighters said two adults and a child made it out of the home safely, but the house may be a total loss.
