Crews contain grass fire near Pikes Peak Community College Rampart Range campus
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Crews were on the scene of a grass fire near the Pikes Peak Community College Rampart Range Campus that caught ablaze Sunday afternoon.
The fire was called in around 3 p.m. and contained by 4 p.m., according to the Colorado Springs Fire Department.
It grew to five acres before crews from CSFD, Black Forest Fire Department, and El Paso County Wildland Fire knocked it down. No buildings were damaged, says CSFD.
