Pueblo man dies after pickup rolls over into backyard

Pueblo police say a 23-year-old man died Sunday after crashing his pickup truck into two utility poles and rolling it over into a backyard.

Officers say the pickup first crashed near the intersection of Lincoln and Veta avenues before it rolled. Police found the pickup truck with significant damage to it near W. Adams and Lincoln.

The driver hasn’t been identified yet, pending notification of his family. Police say he wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was driving with a revoked license.

Alcohol and excessive speed are believed to be factors in the crash, but police are still investigating.
