Youtube back up after experiencing 90 minute outage, company responds

9:00 p.m. update: After nearly a 90-minute outage Tuesday night, streaming service, Youtube is back up and running.

8:45 p.m. update:

YouTube issued the following statement:Thanks for your reports about YouTube, YouTube TV and YouTube Music access issues. We’re working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated.”

Video sharing site, Youtube, began experiencing an outage around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday night. The reports started coming from social media.

According to Down Detector, the outage is being experienced by thousands of people from coast-to-coast.

ABC Action News reports YouTube is the second-most visited website on the internet. The site has 1 million active users, which makes up almost one-third of the internet.
