Storms Continue Tonight 8-21-18

TONIGHT: Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms will be ongoing through the late evening and overnight. A few strong to severe storms will remain possible through the mid-evening over the far Southeastern Plains. Most storms will decrease early in the morning with just some remaining light shower activity. Widespread low clouds and areas of fog will move in and stick around through sunrise. Lows fall to the 50s and low 60s with a few 40s in the mountains.

TOMORROW: Similar weather conditions are on tap for Wednesday with storms continuing through the afternoon and evening. Once again a few severe storms will be possible across the far Southeastern Plains through the afternoon hours. Cloud cover will keep temps cooler through the day, with highs in the 70s and low 80s. Some of our mountain cities will likely not warm out of the 60s.

EXTENDED: Rain chances become more of the isolated variety through Thursday and Friday. Temps will begin a warming trend through late week and the weekend. Slightly better moisture arrives for the weekend with a few storms possible. Drier conditions return for the start of next week.
