Beautiful and mild weather ahead – 03/12/18

Today: Gorgeous weather is expected the next several days across southern Colorado! However, while we’ll be dealing with lots of sunshine today, we have a very small chance for seeing light sprinkles or flurries later this afternoon and tonight. This will primarily take place over the mountains and the higher elevations of the Pikes Peak region. Little to no impacts are expected. Once again, we’ll be mainly dry today with highs a bit warmer compared to what we got yesterday.

Tonight: Lows drop to the 20s and 30s in southern Colorado. Overnight, we’ll have partly cloudy skies. Later this evening, showers will wind down.

Extended: It will be slightly cooler tomorrow thanks to a cold front later tonight. It won’t stay crisp for long, however! Temperatures soar to the 60s and 70s on Wednesday, and some of the eastern plains could even boost to the 80s on Thursday! Some pockets of fire danger will be possible Thursday through Saturday due to low humidity levels and gusty conditions. Stick with us! Later this weekend, we have chances for a few stray showers. We’ll track the latest.
