Arrest made in connection with string of Colorado Springs robberies

Colorado Springs police arrested a man in connection with multiple armed robberies Friday morning.

Officers say Justin Salvatore robbed the Kum and Go on North Carefree Circle, the 7-11 on South Carefree Circle- and the Diamond Shamrock on Palmer Park Boulevard. He also tried robbing the 7-11 on Barnes Road, but the clerk hid. Salvatore then left without any money.

In all four cases, police told us Salvator walked in wearing a gun on his hip and a mask, then demanded money.

CSPD said they were able to find his car based on a description and pulled him over. Officers found the gun used in the robberies in his car.

Salvatore was arrested without incident.
