What affect will the executive order on guns have?

President Obama’s executive order on guns was greeted with a negative reaction at one gun range that we went to Tuesday.

At Dragon Arms in eastern El Paso County, they say there have been a lot of questions about the executive order.

Owner Mel “Dragonman” Bernstein says that the new order won’t affect people in Colorado since what is being proposed is already part of a background check that the state does.

He said, “I don’t see anything new. It’s the same Form 4473 that we have to fill out. I don’t see any more stuff being added here (on the form), because it already says if you have a mental disability, if you’re on drugs, if you have a dishonorable discharge, you can’t have a firearm.”

According to Bernstein, business has spiked at his shop and range in the last few weeks.
