United Way Fundraiser

The United Way of Pueblo County held their 93rd annual campaign kick off Wednesday.

The organization wants to bring people and businesses together to raise money for the community.

The annual kickoff luncheon had food and auctions with a variety of items from sporting event tickets to incredible gift baskets.

They also announced the new United Way of Pueblo County fundraising chairman, Andrew Lang, who will lead the United Way’s fundraising efforts.

“I think you to give back as you can. I think it’s important to help out the community. And I’ve been fortunate to do fairly well and I want to help out as well,” he said.

There were even two superintendents who took a pie in the the face for a good cause.
