2 suspects, including ex-roommate, held in Durango shooting

Two men are being held in the shooting at a Durango motel and condo complex that killed one man and wounded another.

The Durango Herald reports the men were arrested Monday, less than eight hours after the shooting at the Iron Horse Inn.

An unidentified 50-year-old Durango man who was shot later died in surgery. The other man who was shot, 53-year-old Brian Keith Moore of Durango, was treated and released from the hospital.

The suspects were identified as Tyree Anthony Ogsbury-Jones and Aaron Christian Williams, both 22. It’s not clear if they have lawyers yet.

Police say Ogsbury-Jones lived with Moore and the other victim until they kicked him out. Police spokesman Lt. Ray Shupe said they had been having a dispute about personal property and marijuana.
