Trinidad woman searches for stolen car, dog

A Trinidad woman is offering a $500 reward for anyone who can lead her to her stolen Chihuahua, Bella.

Leona Falsetto said she left Bella inside of her car, with the key inside, for less than two minutes while visiting a friend in Trinidad. Falsetto said surveillance video from a nearby business shows three women taking off with her dark blue, 2003 Toyota Highlander last month.

“It’s been tough and just not knowing if they dumped her on the highway or what they did with her,” Falsetto said.

Falsetto’s license plate is 703-XEN. Those with information are encouraged to call the Trinidad Police Department.
