Bank branch robbed for second time in as many months

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help to identify and track down a bank robber. It released surveillance photos Monday evening of a man who deputies say robbed the People’s Bank branch at 1899 Woodmoor Road on Monday afternoon.

The same bank branch was robbed just shy of two months ago, on May 24. Deputies say the suspect’s description and behavior was similar in both robberies.

Monday’s robbery happened just before 12:30 p.m. Deputies say the man walked up to the counter and demanded money. He got away on foot.
