Evacuation Lifted At Colorado State Patrol Headquaters
Employees at the Colorado State Patrol Headquarters were allowed back into the building in Lakewood after an evacuation was lifted.
Employees evacuated the building at 700 Kipling Street after they noticed a strange odor at about 8 a.m. Saturday.
The employees experienced headaches and nausea, said State patrol.
Officials said no employees appear to have any long term affects from the odor.
During the evacuation, all calls ti the Colorado State Patrol’s Denver communication center are being directed to Pueblo or Craig communication Centers.
911 calls in Denver and the surrounding areas should not be affected by the evacuation.
