La Quinta Home Catches Fire

LA QUINTA – A fire caused about $75,000 in damage to a La Quinta home Tuesday, but no one was injured, a Cal Fire spokesman said.

Firefighters sent to 70715 Sagebrush Ave. at 10:24 a.m. reported smoke and flames coming through the roof, said Cal Fire’s Mike Mohler.

The blaze was contained to the living room, he said.

The American Red Cross was called to assist one adult who was displaced from the home, according to Mohler.
