Jack Del Rio named Broncos interim head coach
Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio will become the team’s interim head coach, according to KMGH in Denver.
The announcement came during team meetings in Dove Valley Monday morning.
KMGH reports that Del Rio will also continue being the defensive coordinator. He has been with the Broncos for two years.
Del Rio was the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars for nine years from 2002-2011.
Head coach John Fox became dizzy playing golf near his offseason home in Charlotte and was taken to a hospital this weekend.
The 58-year-old Fox will have surgery in a few days and will miss several weeks.
