Tracking heavy rainfall, flooding concerns

TODAY: We cool back down a few degrees to the low 70's in Colorado Springs and mid-70's in Pueblo. Moisture from the southwest increases, bringing a isolated showers in the morning and heavy rainfall in the afternoon and evening. Today's storms bring gusty winds and hail chances. Flooding is possible along burn scars and in other flood-prone areas. A Flash Flood Watch continues for much of the San Juan Mountains where flooding is even more likely.

EXTENDED: You can expect isolated to scattered showers each afternoon and evening this week, before drier conditions make way this weekend. We cool to the 60's in some lower lying areas Thursday! We rebound back to the 70s Friday, before warming up to the low to mid 80's by the weekend.
