REO Speedwagon, Leann Rimes, ’90s bands headlining Taste of Colorado

This year’s Taste of Colorado musical lineup was released, and it’s clearly trying to hit three important demographics: Rock ‘n Roll fans, Country fans, and…millennials.

The concerts are happening during Labor Day weekend at Civic Center Park in downtown Denver.

REO Speedwagon plus George Thorogood and the Destroyers are catering to the classic rockers on Saturday while Leann Rimes and David Nail are your lead crooners on Sunday.

But Labor Day is a takeover by bands that will assuredly evoke nostalgia to the ’90s. Smash Mouth (who has earned near-meme status on the internet), Sugar Ray, Spin Doctors, and Everclear will headline the final day of the Taste of Colorado.
