Suspicious death at Pueblo County rest stop ruled a suicide

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office blocked an area at a rest stop off northbound Interstate 25 while deputies investigated a suspicious death that turned out to be self-inflicted.

Few details were given, but a body was found Tuesday afternoon at the rest area near mile marker 115. The identity of the person hasn’t been released.

The sheriff’s office says there’s no threat to the public, but little else is known at this time.
