Police investigating suspicious death in north Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs police are investigating after a person was found dead near Burton Way.

Police said a woman was found dead inside an apartment, but her identity hasn’t been released.

Details weren’t given, but CSPD tweeted Wednesday that the death was being considered suspicious. No cause of death was released, and it’s not clear when the body was found. ( MAP )

Police haven’t said if there’s a threat to the public, only saying they’re not looking for any suspects at this point.
