Man shot in leg Sunday, suspect wanted

A shooting Sunday afternoon sent a man to the hospital in Colorado Springs.

The man was shot in the leg in the 3400 block of W. Monica Drive. That’s near S. Academy Blvd. and Hancock Expressway.

Police said the man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

According to witnesses, a gold or tan sedan was seen leaving the area around 2:50 p.m., also the time of the shooting.
