1 killed in motorcycle crash

One man is killed and a woman is seriously injured after a motorcycle crash in Teller County.

Officials said the motorcycle crash happened at about 11 a.m. on Teller County Road 11 near mile post 8.

State Patrol said the man driving the motorcycle died on the scene of the crash. Officials said he is a 70-year-old man from Kansas.

Officials said a woman on the motorcycle was airlifted to a hospital in serious condition, but she is expected to survive.

State troopers said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
