Pueblo hostage situation ends peacefully

A hostage situation in Pueblo ends peacefully.

Pueblo Police say a woman and her son, 4, were held hostage in their apartment this afternoon in the 500 block of west 11th Street.

The suspect, Ryan May, 29, was wanted on a felony prison warrant. Police also say May’s girlfriend was in the apartment with him.

SWAT was called in and arrested May.

A witness tells Newschannel 13 she saw 3 people taken away in handcuffs. Police have not commented on any other arrests.
