2 seriously injured, alcohol a factor in crash

Colorado State Patrol is investigating a crash in Crowley County that seriously injured the two people in the car. The crash happened around 6 a.m. Sunday on County Road F.

Troopers say Shawn Skinner, 24, of Ordway lost control while he was driving. The car went off the road and hit a tree, sending the car through the air, and then rolled.

Both Skinner and the passenger, Shanda Skinner, 23, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Troopers say alcohol is a factor in the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
