Steve’s Garden: Proof uncovered of squirrels eating tomatoes. How to stop the damage

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- KRDO13 has spotted the culprits of some ruined tomatoes in Steve's Garden.

Viewers told Steve squirrels may be attacking the plants to find some sources of hydration during the hot weather. The inside of the tomatoes provide some much-needed relief as the area sees 90 degree days.

Now, the garden has a bowl of water for the animals to help them with some drinking sources. Hopefully, it keeps them out of the tomato plants while helping the animals out during this heat wave.
