Earthquake shakes northwest Colorado

An earthquake has been reported in northwest Colorado.

The United States Geological Survey says a quake with a preliminary 4.3 magnitude struck just after 2 a.m. Friday about 24 miles south-southwest of White River City. The temblor was located at a depth of 3 miles.

The epicenter of the quake was about 180 miles west of Denver.

There was no immediate report of damage or injuries.
