EL PASO COUNTY, Colo (KRDO) -- According to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, El Paso County saw 907 new COVID-19 cases and 1 new COVID-related death within the last 24 hours.

Pueblo County saw an increase of 374 new COVID-19 cases. Starting Sunday at 5 p.m., Pueblo County moves to Level Red. Restrictions at this level include an end to indoor dining and the last call for alcohol will be at 8 p.m.

Throughout Colorado, 15 other counties are moving to Level Red Friday, November 20.

In a press conference Friday, Governor Polis said 1 in every 49 Coloradans statewide are likely contagious. When asked how some counties are avoiding being moved to Level Red, Polis said that is to give counties an opportunity to reverse their outbreaks.

El Paso County moved to Level Orange restrictions last Friday, November 13. On Tuesday, local leaders said they support El Paso County keeping the current restrictions.
