Police investigating after man reports being kidnapped, assaulted in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A local man called police officers around 4:40 a.m. Monday and said he had been kidnapped and taken across town, where he was beaten.

Colorado Springs Police reported that officers went to the 3900 block of N. Nevada Ave. and found the victim with multiple injuries.

According to a police report, the man told officers he had been taken from an area near N. Chestnut and Fillmore streets and then taken to Nevada Ave. That's where he was allegedly assaulted in a hotel room.

CSPD got a search warrant for the motel room, and police say the investigation is still ongoing.

No suspects have been identified at this time.
