Motorcyclist hurt in crash on Hwy 24 and 26th St. in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) — A motorcyclist is in the hospital after a crash in west Colorado Springs on Saturday afternoon. It happened at the intersection of Hwy 24 and 26th St. around 1:30 p.m. 

A Colorado Springs Police sergeant said a vehicle was turning left at the intersection onto 26th, when it crashed with the motorcycle driving east on Hwy 24. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital. 

Police said they are still investigating and have not issued any citations. The condition of the motorcycle rider is not clear.

  1. Yeah all the wannabes that could not afford to go to Sturgis were out driving slow on the roads. It is real cool when you do 5 under in the left lane we are all impressed.

    1. And there are still some crotch-rockets coming out of nowhere, weaving in and out of other traffic like they own the road. They’re equally impressive.
