KRDO recognized with 4 Edward R. Murrow awards, including back-to-back overall excellence wins
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Radio Television Digital News Association has recognized KRDO for outstanding work in journalism with four Edward R. Murrow awards for the 2019 year.
KRDO earned the following honors with regional awards:
- Overall Excellence
- Breaking News Coverage - STEM School Shooting
- News Documentary - Hiding in Plain Sight
- News Series - Hiding in Plain Sight
Those entries will now go to the national level for competition. Last year, KRDO earned the national Edward R. Murrow award for Overall Excellence.
