Republicans take majority in the U.S. Senate

Washington, D.C. (KRDO) - Republicans now have majority in the U.S. Senate. Republicans Bernie Moreno of Ohio and Jim Justice of West Virginia both flipped their seats.

As of publication, republicans hold 51 seats in the senate with seven seats left to be called.

According to the Associated Press, this is the first time Republicans have held a Senate majority in four years.
