COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado State Patrol is investigating after a motorcycle crash Saturday on I-25 that left one person dead.

According to CSP, the crash happened around 8:13 p.m. near the exits at Interquest and Briargate, at milepost 152 in El Paso County.

When troopers arrived, they found the rider, a Colorado Springs man, unresponsive. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Based on an initial investigation, the motorcycle was traveling south on I-25 in the left lane when it braked suddenly, causing him to lose control. The motorcycle then traveled into the center median, before overturning and ejecting the driver.

The left lane of I-25 South was closed for around two hours Saturday evening. Aggressive driving is being investigated as a possible factor in the crash.
