1 person hurt in overnight shooting in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital.

Officers were dispatched to a convenience store on the 900 block of N. Circle Dr. just after 2 a.m. Wednesday. When they arrived they contacted the victim who was later taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At this time police have not released any information on any suspects or persons of interest. We will continue to keep you updated on any new developments.
