COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs School District 38 is reporting an outbreak Friday at Bear Creek Elementary School.

El Paso County Public Health defines an outbreak as two or more positive coronavirus cases between non-related people within a 2-week period.

A spokesperson for D38 says the people who tested positive will remain home until they are no longer infectious. Anyone who may have been exposed has also been asked to quarantine.

El Paso County Public Health says no one else is required to quarantine, so Bear Creek Elementary is still open for students and staff.
