More flash flooding concerns for Southern Mountains – 7/26/19

TODAY: It will feel muggy through the first half of the day as we will still be dealing with some lingering moisture. Skies will be blue to partly cloudy for the daytime with storm chances increasing between 12-2PM today. Those start over the mountains and drop south through the day. The best chance for storms will be south of Highway 50 within Flash Flood Watches over the Southern Mountains. Highs today will be slightly warmer and will top off in the 80s and 90s. 70s are expected for the mountains.

TONIGHT: Muggy with partly cloudy skies. Lows cool to the 50s and 60s.

EXTENDED: The weekend looks fairly stormy, especially on Saturday. By Monday and Tuesday, we dry out in most areas and get back to that summer heat!
