Wednesday Storm System 4-16-19

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds with temperatures cooling to the 30s and 40s. A stray shower is possible.

WEDNESDAY: Highs will be in the 40’s under mostly cloudy skies. Scattered rain and even a bit of snow push in. This coverage becomes more expansive through the afternoon. We will likely even be dealing with a few thunderstorms out east of I-25 tomorrow. While there is no widespread severe weather expected, a landspout or two can’t be ruled out for the far eastern plains considering the dynamics in place. No snow accumulation is expected locally, other than a few inches over the high peaks on the southern mountains.

THURSDAY: Highs will be cooler for the middle of the week before dry skies move in on Friday and Saturday. This is also coming with some warmth. The Easter Holiday looks cooler and rainy.
