Colorado Springs man arrested for using Facebook to recruit a woman to be a prostitute

A Colorado Springs man has been arrested after police say he used Facebook to recruit a woman to be a prostitute.

The Colorado Springs Police Department’s Vice and Human Trafficking Unit arrested Ronald Davis Friday for Attempted Pimping, Keeping a Place of Prostitution and Attempted Pandering.

Police say Davis used Facebook to contact an adult woman via messages to work for him to provide commercial sex acts. Police say he offered to facilitate the acts.

Police add the messages said Davis would take a portion of the money as his fee for arranging the sex acts. The messages also show Davis was doing the same thing for other women.

Police are continuing their investigation, anyone with information is asked to call the Vice and Human Trafficking Unit at (719) 444-7729
