More accusations against Colorado Springs educator arrested for child sexual assault

After last week’s arrest, we wanted to look deeper in Keean Davis, a former cheer coach and security guard at several high schools in Colorado Springs.

Police say Keean Davis provided drugs to a student before sexually assaulting him. After the news of his arrest broke out, we learned more families came forward accusing him of sexual assault.

The Colorado Springs Police Department says there are now three possible victims in the sexual assault case against Keean Davis.

The arrest papers state the second victim met Davis during his freshman year at Sand Creek High School.

During that time, the victim claims he would spend the night at Davis’s home.

On one specific night, the victim recalls Davis trying to get into his bed. On another, he remembers waking up naked to Davis straddling him.

The papers also state Davis would buy him clothes, food, drugs, and alcohol. It’s something the initial victim said Davis would also do with him.

Hannah Farner says he was a para-educator many students trusted and felt comfortable around.

“He was really charming with the kids. He was buddy, buddy with them. He was always talking to the kids. He talked to some of the teachers, but I mostly saw him talking to the kids,” she said.

Davis bonded out of jail and according to the arrest papers he was texting the victim wanting to meet up, asking what was said to police.

Jahrnae Anderson says Davis was her para-educator and says she never witnessed any of the behavior Davis is accused of.

“He wouldn’t touch on any of the girls or any of the boys either. He always helped me with homework,” she said.

Because Davis has contacted victims after bonding out, the Colorado Springs Police Department is requesting an increased bond.

According to district 49, Davis worked as a para-educator for a year and a half but didn’t say why or when he left.

Davis is set back in court on November 5th.
