CDOT hosting public outreach meetings for I-25 gap project

The Colorado Department of Transportation is holding a series of meetings to get public opinion on the plans to improve an 18-mile stretch of Interstate 25 from Castle Rock to Monument.

The following listening sessions will be hosted, followed by telephone town halls later in February.

Jan. 30: Penrose House – Proby Room 1661 Mesa Ave. Colorado Springs, 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Jan. 31 – Meadows Park Community Center 1943 S El Paso Ave. Colorado Springs, 5:30 – 7 p.m.

Feb. 5 – Rockrimmon Library 832 Village Center Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 4:45 – 6:15 p.m.

Feb. 6 – Cheyenne Mountain Library 1785 S 8th St Colorado Springs, 5:30 – 7 p.m.

Feb. 8 – Monument Library 1706 Woodmoor Drive, Monument, CO 6:45 – 8:15 p.m.

Feb. 12 – Natural Grocers North Academy 7298 North Academy Blvd. Colorado Springs 5:30 – 7 p.m.

Feb. 13 – Natural Grocers Monument 1216 W. Baptist Rd. Monument, 5:30 – 7 p.m.

Feb. 15 – Natural Grocers South Nevada 1604 South Nevada Ave. Colorado Springs, 5:30 – 7 p.m.

Telephone town halls will be held for El Paso County on Feb. 21 from 6-7 p.m., and for Douglas County on Feb. 22 from 6-7 p.m.

To call in for the town hall, dial 1-877-229-8493 and use the PIN 112034 followed by the pound sign.
