Weather Alert Tonight – 02/15/18

TONIGHT: A wintry mix of rain, freezing rain and snow will continue moving in from north to south. Once temps drop below freezing later tonight, only scattered snow showers are expected. Snow will fill in across much of the area through the overnight in to early Friday. Very light accumulations are possible, mainly between Pueblo and Trinidad along I-25, but there could be some slick and icy areas late tonight and early tomorrow.

TOMORROW: Some lingering light snow showers and flurries are still expected along the I-25 corridor early as low clouds linger and create areas of fog. Any light snow will come to an end through the morning hours with clouds lingering keeping temps cool. Clouds may break up some for the afternoon but sunshine will be slow to return.

EXTENDED: Warmer temperatures arrive for the weekend with breezy conditions and mostly sunny skies. Mild temps continue in to President’s Day but by late Monday into Tuesday we’ll see some additional snow chances with the return of colder temperatures. Keep checking back for the latest updates!
