Beautiful day and breezy ahead – 02/13/18

Today: Enjoy the beautiful weather today! We’re getting ready for mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures. Increasing sunshine should allow for more melting of the snow and ice we got Saturday. Mountain snow will be diminishing. Winds should be light.

Tonight: Mainly clear skies are anticipated overnight. Lows tumble to the 20s.

Extended: Temperatures warm up Wednesday to the 60s in the lower elevations! The warmth comes at a cost, however. It will be windy, and downsloping winds will boost our highs. Tomorrow, we’re tracking elevated fire danger. Be aware! Late Thursday into early Friday, we have a very small chance for a few rain and snow showers; however, little to no impacts are expected. We’ll be dry into this upcoming weekend.
