Cold morning with sunshine later – 12/15/17

Today: Highs will reach the 50s across southern Colorado. We’ll deal with some patches of freezing fog this morning; there could be a few slick spots! Additionally in the higher elevations where we saw snow yesterday, there could still be remaining icy areas. Just be weather aware this morning! This morning, we’re tracking temperatures in the teens and 20s, so bundle up! Later, we’ll have plenty of sunshine with warmer temperatures.

Tonight: Mostly clear skies are expected overnight. Lows drop to the 20s and 30s. There will be dry conditions with a slight breeze.

Extended: Clouds will increase slightly this upcoming weekend. On Sunday, we also have a small chance for a few rain/snow showers (no accumulations are expected right now. We’ll let you know if that changes!). We’ll stick with dry conditions thereafter until Thursday. That will be our following chance for active weather.
