Suspects in three murders due in court Monday

Two men accused of two separate murder cases, are due in a Colorado Springs court Monday.

Police say Richard Spanks and Haywood Miller are responsible for two separate cases. The first happened Nov. 2016 at an apartment complex on Carmel Drive. Investigators say Spanks shot and killed 21-year-old Marcus Williams.

In the second case, three days later, two women were found dead inside their home off Mosswood Lane. Jacqueline Cline, 33, and 23-year-old Victoria Loftis, died of gunshot wounds.

“One of them was still breathing and he went back and finished her up and shot her again and killed her,” witnesses said.
