Families watch with pride during Air Force Academy graduation

As the 979 graduates walked across the stage Wednesday for Air Force Academy graduation, their families all looked on with pride.

It was a proud day for those family members who watched their children grow up to serve their country.

“We are very proud of him. I couldn’t say enough how proud we are,” said the mother of graduate Sam Sholi, Susan Sholi.

Families came from all over the country for graduation, but not matter the distance, the amount of pride remains the same. Big plans are on the horizon for these new second lieutenants. A class of graduates ready to go into the world and fight for our country.
